Making a Splash! - Day Four

Today was spent at one of Massanutten Resort's main attractions, the indoor/outdoor waterpark. The indoor portion of the park is open year-round and is always 84 degrees. There are 8 indoor water slides, a kiddie area, a wave pool, mat racers, adventure river tubing and the most popular was the Flowrider - surfing the wave!!!! I have video of the boys, but don't know yet how to upload. Kelly will help with that later.
Lesley and I spent most of our time down at the "Frog Pond" with John Ashford and Avery. The pond was about 12 inches deep-just right for the little ones! They could take a ride down the frog slide - Avery loved that- she must have gone down 100 times! John Ashford, on the other hand, was not entertained at all by the scary looking frog!! Ribbit-Ribbit!

The Frog Pond also had swings and water-spraying noodles. They had a ball!

The boys spent their time with the "extreme" waterpark features. They were a little hesitant at first with some of the more intimidating slides, but with a little encouragement from their daddy and Uncle Stephen, they were pros by the end of the day!!!
